Through partnerships with neighborhood schools, churches, families, educators, and community organizations, SME will provide children and young people with opportunities to discover music and develop their abilities.

Music education can support much more than musical talent. Exposure to music can contribute to creativity, confidence, communication, discipline, self-expression, and academic development.

For the Stewart family, this mission is personal.

Gregory Stewart, Jr.'s own childhood experience demonstrated how powerful music can be as a tool for communication and development. SME wants more children to have the opportunity to discover what music can unlock within them.
